IZIT AI is an AI music detection tool built by TrevBeats Multimedia LLC. This policy explains what happens to your audio and how we handle your information when you use the app.
Short version: Audio you record or upload is processed for analysis only and is never stored, sold, or shared with third parties. No account is required. No personal data is collected.
How your audio is handled
When you use IZIT AI to record, upload, or submit a link for analysis, the audio is processed as follows:
- Audio is transmitted over your local network to a processing server for acoustic analysis.
- The audio file is analyzed in memory and deleted from the server immediately after the result is returned — typically within seconds.
- No audio recordings are retained, logged, or stored on any server.
- Audio is never used to train AI models.
- Audio is never shared with third parties.
Analysis results (verdict, score, component breakdown) are stored locally on your device only, using iOS UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it using the in-app share feature.
Microphone permission
IZIT AI requests access to your device microphone solely to enable the audio recording feature. Microphone access is used only when you explicitly initiate a recording session by tapping the record button.
- The microphone is never accessed in the background.
- No audio is captured without your active initiation.
- You can revoke microphone access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.
Third-party services used
IZIT AI uses the following third-party services during audio analysis. These services receive the audio file temporarily as part of the detection pipeline:
- Anthropic API — used to synthesize acoustic analysis into a plain-language verdict. No audio is sent to Anthropic; only text-based feature data is transmitted. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy.
- AI or Not API — used for neural AI music detection. Audio is submitted to aiornot.com for analysis per their terms of service. AI or Not's privacy policy is available at aiornot.com.
Both services are used only during active analysis sessions initiated by you. Neither service stores or retains submitted audio beyond the duration of the API call.
What we never collect
- Name, email address, or any identifying information
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
- Crash reports sent to third-party analytics platforms
- Contacts, photos, or any data outside the app
IZIT AI contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking libraries.
What's stored on your device
The only data stored by IZIT AI is your local scan history — the results of previous analyses you have run. This includes the verdict, score, headline, and component breakdown for each scan.
- Scan history is stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults.
- It is never synced to iCloud or any external server.
- You can delete your scan history at any time from within the app.
- Uninstalling IZIT AI removes all locally stored data.
Children's privacy
IZIT AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of IZIT AI after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
